Introduction

This section of the documentation explains how an administrator can manage the background processes of the application.

A process pairs a task already registered in the application with an optional cron schedule. Once registered, it can be scheduled, paused, resumed, or executed on demand without changing the configuration of the application or restarting it. Every run is recorded, so an administrator can confirm that a critical job completed and see how long it took.

All of this is done from a single view, Processes management, which lists the registered processes with their current status and gives access to the creation, edition, scheduling, and execution history features.
